Buffalo Wild Wings

I enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings...well at least the bar and grill! =) They have several options included mozzarella sticks, potato wedges, fried pickles, soft pretzels, queso dip, onion rings, artichoke dip and in case those already meatless options don't sound appealing, they make many other menu items minus meat (at full price of course).

So last night I had one of my favorite "minus the meat" menu items... The Grilled Chicken Buffalitos. It is "two soft flour tortillas with grilled chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo, a blend of cheese, sour cream, and your choice of your favorite buffalo wild wing sauce" VERY TASTY!

Nothing fried at BWW is vegetarian as they fry in beef tallow -- see the response I received from them in October 2011 below:

Thank you for your comments. Buffalo Wild Wings has always utilized the beef tallow to fry in. As we fry chicken this product provides the cravable taste flavor we are known for . We do understand there are transfats in this product but these are naturally occurring and similar to what is in the fresh chicken product. Because we fry chicken in all of our fryers our fried foods would not be considered vegetarian due to the cross contamination. Buffalo Wing wings does offer a number of vegetarian option. Currently on the new menu we offer the Black Bean Burger, although it is not vegan, is a meatless option and with a side salad is a great vegetarian choice. We can also suggest our Signature Flatbread without the chicken, Parmesan Garlic and the new Spinach Artichoke Flatbread are great choices. We also offer wraps and salads that would be choices without the meat added. Baked pretzels and a vegetable boat option are also now available.

  2. Thank you for the information! I normally don't eat their fried items. I normally eat the ultimate nachos without meat or the buffalitos without chicken. I have had their pickles and did not have an allergic reaction like I do when eating meat products. I also have only ever eaten at one BW3 location.
